Gathering people | Community development (We’re still gathering and connecting in both virtual and in-person ways)
- Los Lunes de las 7-8 PM: Grupo virtual de discipulado y estudia biblica, MessangerChat Link: https://msngr.com/pfpylgbpwgcl
- Tuesdays, 5-7 PM: Be in community together Meal, Discipleship and Bible Study, Open Pantry, and Nurse clinic hours at the church (3910 Yanceyville St)
- Facilitate a support group or community workshop on a topic related to health / healing (virtually on Zoom or Facebook Live, or in a home or the church)
- Help us revive our community garden space
- Bilingual Spanish-speakers needed to help nurture newly forming cell groups among Spanish-dominant families
- Help identify gifts and assets among people in our community.
- Practice presence in the neighborhood and extend invitations for events and ministries
Connecting Food and People
- Mondays, Noon – 1:30 PM: Prepare groceries for international families and receive fresh food donations from Food Not Bombs
- Tuesdays, 3-4 PM: Help package meals and prepare boxes of groceries to bless and send out
- Tuesdays, 4-5 PM: Deliver groceries and supplies to a few households across Greensboro, building connections while maintaining physical distancing during this pandemic

Storysharing Ministry
- Help collect testimonies of what God is doing and sharing images and people’s stories through social media and other channels
- Interview community members and help their message get shared (a great project for students looking for community engagement credit!)
Volunteering from a distance (but equally vital!)
- Prepare a 9 x 13″ pan (or 2!) of casserole, pasta, or a veggie side ahead of time
- Collect brown paper bags and boxes 12″ x 24″ and larger for deliveries
- Collect items for our pantry:
– diaper wipes
– feminine hygiene (tampons, pads – various sizes)
– dried beans
– no-salt canned diced tomatoes, corn and peas
– pasta and pasta sauce
– applesauce & low-sugar canned fruit
– peanut butter
